Possibly, tired of game-spotting, dotting and dashing,
Painter-Creator had a longing for lines, elegantly unbroken.
Pure without rendezvous, their unrequited love eternally unspoken.

All nature needs is a set of stripes - symbolic of healing forever,
And I`ll lay them all on you, Monsieur Zebra!"
Roguishly, almost, that creature
roams the wild, although wearing
rigor in the design of his hide.
Always imprisoned in black and white. Imperial parallel lines.
And, tamely, a convict looks out from the severest of bars
Across his cell- window. ``Wish one were skew, I`d escape to the stars!"
L and double ll, the word itself contains the concept -
line-like letters, side by side. Though is it para-lell or -llel? Goodness, I forget!
La-di-da, linguistic laws! You are laboriously legalistic.
Let`s have gentle guidelines, almost-parallels, which have the grace to bend.
Every now and then, two fools, bent on comedy, find each other`s antics
equally funny. ``Ha-ha, Clown, you`re ludicrous!" ``Nay, Elf, merely
eccentric!" Jesters, unaware that the very laughter lines on their faces are matched.
Lovers, ha! - on the other hand, keep a cool fixed distance apart, initially. Then -
legit-and-intimate, approach a limit, and come to
lie closeclose together. Who can tell whether they form one life, or two, parallel?

THE KNIGHT:

The court royals relates to 16 aspects of a single personality. They correspond to the four types delineated by the psychologist, Carl Jung, to the various rites of passage and to the sequential stages of human ontogenic maturation.

The exercise of force and will. Death of an old energy cycle and birth of a new. Transition, search, going beyond. Evolution. Support from powerful persons. Deals with completion of long cycles.

Negative it can mean abuse or misuse of power. The need to control others. Extreme masculinity. Extremely conservative and traditional. Tunnel vision. Obsession.

This medieval adventure tale is very loosely inspired by Geoffrey Chaucer's -The Canterbury Tales

I have to add that the Knights Tale in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales reminds me of a general theme here - as how he is portrayed in Chaucer's tale as how he sees himself (once again the mirror comes to mind) and the world as well as how he perceives the world sees him.

"Finally, death is the end of every worldly sore."

We have established that there are direct links between the crow and the jester/joker as an archetype, that reminds me of the most famous knight that was also the court joker/jester namely Dagonet.

Autopsy inconclusive on actor Heath Ledger

An autopsy conducted on the actor Heath Ledger was inconclusive, New York medical examiners said today, and it will take almost two weeks for a cause of death to be determined.

Ledger, 28, was found dead in a New York apartment yesterday afternoon, his naked body lying face down at the foot of the bed.

Authorities moved today to correct earlier reports that pills had been strewn around the room. Sources said that the medication found in the apartment was in containers on a bedside table and in a bathroom cabinet.

Ledger's family had earlier contacted an American news website to deny its report that the 28-year-old had committed suicide.

"The autopsy was finished and the cause of death for Mr Ledger will be pending further study. We have to do additional testing and investigation. It's going to be about 10 days to two weeks," said Ellen Borakove, spokeswoman for the office of chief medical examiner.

The Australian actor's death prompted President Bush to cancel an event aimed at preventing prescription drug abuse.

"We thought it would be better to postpone the event rather than run the risk of anyone thinking that we were being opportunistic in highlighting the issue," a spokeswoman said.

Speculation that his death may have involved prescription medicines was rife following reports that sleeping pills were found near his body. In a recent interview with the New York Times, the actor confirmed that he had taken sleeping pills following a punishing schedule of filming.

This is a chilling confirmation of what I had suspected for the 'Demon Days' window of January 20-24 - a 'phoenix death' ('chaos') event. As I wrote in 'Orange Gate 2008: The Phoenix Ignition' ( posted Jan. 13):

Still, the rise of the Phoenix/Atlantis [ed. referring to space shuttle Atlantis's Feb. 7 launch] is 'order out of chaos', hence any rising 'ritual' may still require some form of 'chaos' to accompany/precede it. Perhaps that's where the 'Demon Days' of January will come in... We'll just have to see.

Now, as noted before, January 22nd was precisely when Comet Holmes passed right in front of the 'Demon Star' Algol reflected by Ledger's demonic 'Joker' character in 'The Dark Knight' to be released this summer... which is another 'knight' movie. Even more compelling, I was informed by a reader more familiar with the Batman series that one of the supervillains Batman regularly fights is named 'Ra's al Ghul' which is the original form of the name 'Algol'! Like Ledger, he's even comparable to the phoenix:

Ra's al Ghul... is a DC Comics supervillain and an enemy of Batman. His name is Arabic for "the ghoul's head" (the Demon's Head, see Algol). [...] Ra's al Ghul has lived for several centuries thanks to his use of Lazarus Pits which he has used countless times replenishing his aged, injured, or even dead body. [...]

Remember, we're not noticing patterns lazily in hindsight here. There is a considerable amount of foresight involved in all this (projections => confirmations) which serves to greatly help prove the validity of the patterns being discussed. Good Purim! We celebrate the holiday of Purim this Thursday night and Friday during the day. The main thing about Purim is joy. Since the miracle of Purim occurred through parties and alcohol, we re-enact these scenes in the celebration of this holiday. Purim is a party time. It is even a rabbinic custom to drink so much alcohol that you do not know the difference between good and evil. That does not seem like the kind of behavior that you would imagine that rabbis would recommend, but the rabbis wanted us to go beyond our rational minds to the " I do not know " consciousness. In this altered state we just might have a glimpse of a deeper truth that everything in life is divine providence. Good and evil are masks of the one G-d. Ultimately, there is only G-d. The joy of Purim is when we can see through the masks of reality and see G-d. People dress up in costumes on Purim to demonstrate that life is full of masks, but it is so much fun because we know on Purim that G-d is behind them all. For the most fun, dress up in a costume that no one will even know who you are. You will be hidden like G-d and you will feel so close to G-d. During the holiday of Purim there is a beautiful custom of sending gifts of fruit and cake to friends via a third party. Giving "Shalach manos", these gift bundles, increase joy and love. I encourage everyone to send Shalach manos to at least two people. Only by doing this will you get a taste of what Purim is about. My teacher Reb Shlomo Carlebach of blessed memory spoke often of deeper teachings of this custom. Here is an excerpt of a teaching from him during a concert about Purim and Shalah manos. It gives you a taste of who Reb Shlomo was:

"On Purim I send Shalach manos to my friends, not face to face. You know on Yom Kippur I am standing before G-d and I tell G-d "This I did right, this I did wrong." On Purim, I am standing with all my secrets, maybe all the secret things I did wrong but also all the secret things I did which were so beautiful. You know friends I want you to know, this is the deepest depth, when you love somebody so much is when you do things for them that you do not want them to know. You know what is a real Jew? I wish I could do something for the One, for the Only One, without G-d knowing. I wish I could do something for my children, for my wife, for all of Israel for the whole world without anyone knowing. Sometimes it is hard not to do wrong when nobody knows about it, But those mitzvot, those good deeds, you do secretly, they give you strength and holiness to be holy when you are just alone with G-d.

I want you to know my beautiful friends, my friends are not friends because of those things they know I did for them. They are my friends because of all those unbelievable holy things I did for them without them knowing. You know, my friends, we are learning this at night. When it is dark, when nobody knows, Even G-d, so to speak is hiding a bit, We do not even want G-d to know how much we love the Torah.
